Toulon

Nestled in a magnificent natural site, backed by mountains facing the sea, Toulon enjoys a magnificent natural site. Just take the cable car to the top of Mount Faron and enjoy the view of the city and its magnificent harbor. Toulon is however as pretty from near as from far. Its narrow streets lead to charming shady squares that are refreshed by fountains and regularly enlivened by Provencal markets. Don’t miss to visit the national museum of the navy which reminds us that the city was also the main French military port.
