Legend has it that the 3 Golden Islands and the Giens peninsula are four princesses frozen in stone. Nothing obliges to believe it but it is necessary to admit that the 3 islands which emerge in front of the Var coast have the beauty of the princesses of the legend. Of the three islands, Port-Cros is the wildest. On this small island with its jagged coastline and its many creeks, you can only walk on foot along the paths. It is a small natural paradise for hikers and scuba divers.
